Bob,

I have inventory of about 50 of each of the boards (unassembled)
and components except for the Printer interface card which I will
run out of very soon. However, the MIB3 board can be used as a
parallel card and eliminating some of the parts possibly just for
that purpose. With each order I assemble the card(s) and burn
the GAL programmed chip with equipment and parts furnished by
Mark when I purchased all his remaining stock. However, there
are some newer GAL chips he used that I cannot burn for the
IDE card; so I have a limited supply of those chips preburned.

It would be possible to manufacture more boards, but the propos-
ition is expensive since all the layouts were destroyed and each
card would have to be redrawn for manufacture, and at least 250
of each board produced. Roughly you're talking about $1000, and
I don't have the demand to get a return for that investment myself.

I would be happy to supply anyone PREASSEMBLED cards for as long
as I have inventory. I have not made back the amount I paid Mark,
so any business is more than welcome. I have reduced the price
of the MIB3 card to $49.95 assembled and tested with software and
instruction. I would be agreeable to quantity discounts on serial
cards, too. And, I have 64K and 256K cards of my own now that I
can discount in quantity.

Let me know what your interests are.

Subject: IDE controller cards

>Terry, been meaning to get with you on a matter of importance.
At ADAMCON 09, the subject of HD IDE controller cards, MIB3 boards,
double serial boards, and parallel interfaces was brought up.
MTAG user group in Toronto is in the market for about 10 this year
they figure. With that number from just one club, the idea prog-
ressed into how many might be wanted AND, more to the point, how
many are available (or can be produced).
The idea was brought up that a possible appropriate use of A.N.N.
be to buy enough boards or parts to make a new run worthwhile to
produce. Having no idea what your deal with Mark Gordon was and
what the design rights are; we are a little in the dark as to the
how, when and where of these hardware designs.
Also discussed was the possibility of buying just the raw parts
and having them assembled by the Toronto group for their members.

I'd appreciate it if you could let me know so I can pass on the
info to MTAG, and A.N.N., especially concerning the HD cards.
 Thanks. [Bob]
